Jahangir Latif Gasymov was born on November 19, 1969 in the village of Nizami, Masis District, Armenian SSR. In 1987 he graduated from chemical and biological secondary school No. 5. In the same year he was sent to military service.
In 1990 he entered the faculty "Medical issue" of AMU; in 1996 he graduated from this faculty. In 2001, he continued his education in clinical residency at the Department of Ear and Nose Diseases. D.L. Gasymov is a candidate of medical sciences.
From 1994 to 2010, he was appointed chairman of the youth student organization AMU. From November 2010 to the present, he is chairman of the Staff trade union committee.
In 2010, he was elected Associate professor of Department of Ear, Nose and Throat Diseases. In the same year he was awarded the Progress Medal by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in connection with the 80th anniversary of the University.
He is married with two children. |
