8 September - World First Aid Day

Every year since 2000, on the second Saturday of September, World Health Day is celebrated in many countries. The initiators of the meeting are the national organizations - members of the International Movement of the Red Cross and Red Crescent. The purpose of providing first aid is to provide the victim with the necessary basic medical measures to save his life, reduce his suffering and prevent the development of possible complications.
